Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist, where your energetic and positive attitude will be the first point of contact for pet owners and visitors. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and ensure a smooth flow of communication between clients and veterinary staff. Duties Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service with a lively, professional demeanor Schedule appointments efficiently while managing the clinic's calendar to optimize patient flow Handle medical collections accurately, including processing payments and insurance claims Answer phone calls promptly, providing information and directing inquiries to appropriate team members Maintain detailed records of client interactions, medical histories, and billing information Assist with kennel management tasks such as animal husbandry, pet care, and ensuring animals are comfortable and safe Support veterinary staff with basic animal handling, restraint, and knowledge of veterinary terminology when needed Requirements Previous experience in veterinary reception or administrative roles within animal clinics is preferred Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and restraint techniques Experience with medical collections, laboratory procedures Familiarity with animal handling, including dog training, pet grooming, and general pet care practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic approach to customer service Join us if you're passionate about animals and eager to contribute your skills in a lively team environment!
