Front Desk Receptionist (part of Eight Eleven Group) 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars 200 Lincoln Avenue, Santa Fe, NM 87501 $21 an hour - Temp-to-hire, Full-time, Contract Calculated Hire 25 reviews $21 an hour - Temp-to-hire, Full-time, Contract Front Desk Receptionist General Definition of Work The Receptionist performs a variety of general accounting or technical duties as needed to implement, monitor and update financial, technical, and/or special data on assigned projects. Depending on assignment and department/division, may serve as liaison to downtown organization in determining needs and advising on programs available or tailoring programs to fit needs of groups; or may order equipment and materials to assure completion of project and/or acquire bids necessary to conform to procurement code in order to achieve project within budget. Qualification Requirements Essential Functions Manages and monitors computerized tracking system, by compiling specific project information needed to record the progress of each project (tasks, project participants, funding sources, work schedules and budgets). Assists in coordinating projects with various departments, committees and the City Council. Maintains accurate records of agenda items for documentation and for reference and processes payments for professional service agreements and construction contracts. Monitors budgets developed for projects and administrative operating expenses; assists Project Managers in reporting financial activity and performance statements relating to the progress of specific projects. Assists in administering the Request for Proposal (RFP) bidding process. Performs administrative duties as necessary. Performs other duties as required. Education Requirement Associate's in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, or other related field. Experience Requirement Three (3) years of experience in business administration as it applies to financial reporting, budget preparation, and business computer applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, Access, Power Point, etc. Education and Experience Equivalency One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements. Licensure and Certifications Must possess a valid driver's license. Special Requirements Obtain and maintain a City of Santa Fe driving permit within three (3) months of hire. For assignment in the Police Department must get fingerprinted and pass background investigation. Physical Requirements Requires the exertion of up to 25 pounds of force.
