Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to support daily front-desk and administrative operations in Cohoes, New York. This Long-term Contract position calls for a detail-oriented candidate with relevant experience who can welcome visitors, coordinate office activity, and keep records and communications organized. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing customer-facing responsibilities with clerical support while maintaining confidentiality and a well-run office environment.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests courteously, guide them to the appropriate contacts, and ensure a positive front-office experience.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries, including packages handled through courier services and internal distribution.
Maintain accurate visitor records, call logs, and security badge or pass processes in accordance with site procedures.
Oversee meeting room calendars and help confirm rooms are properly prepared with the necessary equipment.
Provide day-to-day administrative assistance such as document preparation, typing, filing, photocopying, and compiling bound materials.
Assemble and distribute mailers and other office correspondence while supporting general clerical workflow.
Respond to routine information requests and help route questions to the appropriate departments or team members.
