Chiropractic Receptionist/Insurance Collector

Part-time, hourly position.

Required hours:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:45 until last patient leaves and 2:45 until the last patient leaves. Amounts to approximately 20 hours per week. These are non-negotiable. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and support within our chiropractic practice. You will assist with various administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation while fostering a welcoming environment for our patients. Duties Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Conduct patient intake by gathering medical history and relevant information. Perform patient assessments to understand their needs and concerns. Maintain accurate patient records using medical terminology and documentation practices. •Insurance collections are a key part to this job•Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the office and treatment areas. Qualifications Strong patient service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for all patients. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is recommended, but not required, for effective communication and support. Previous experience in patient assessment or intake processes is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times. A genuine interest in health and wellness, particularly in chiropractic care.
