Under the supervision of the Associate Office Manager maintain the services on time. Answer phone and maintain the patients and clinician's schedules. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Welcome and greet patients and visitors in person
  • Keep the front desk and waiting area clean and organized
  • Request the patients to sign into the daily log-in sheet.
  • Take new intakes and apply the proper procedures
  • Maintain the patient appointments on schedule by notifying clinicians of patients' arrival
  • Schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and provide receipts following established procedures
  • Answer the phone in a timely and courteous manner and direct calls to the correct departments
  • Organize and maintain the MD schedules
  • Create and maintains patient accounts accurately by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information .
  • Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, collecting patient charges, filing, and expediting third-party claims
  • Follow daytime and nighttime operating procedures designed for the clinics
  • Work one Saturday every 4 weeks according with the beginning of the year calendar (open and closing procedures for a day)
  • Assist clinicians, staff, visitors, and patients as needed
  • Protect patients' rights by maintaining the confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information. Follow HIPAA guidelines
  • Provide patients transportation and have the proper documentation
  • Responsible of mailing, faxing, and sending out all documents
  • Liaise with Associate Office Manager, Staff and Clinician of the agency to ensure team support. Including assisting with any type of inquires
  • Adhere to policies and procedures during all activities
  • Assigned miscellaneous Requirements
Education:
High School Degree or Associates
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a clinic setting
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • Ability to work as a team player
Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Outlook Job Type:
