Receptionist

At Westbrook Country club, the clubhouse reception desk is the communication hub of the entire dining operation. It's where members call to make dinner reservations. Where guests are welcomed when they arrive at the clubhouse. Where dining requests, to-go orders, and special member needs are coordinated. We're looking for 2 Part Time Evening Front Desk Receptionists / Club Concierges who enjoy hospitality, organization, and being the person who helps everything run smoothly behind the scenes. This role serves as the welcoming presence for members and the coordination point for reservations, phone inquiries, and dining and hotel communication. The Role The Front Desk Receptionist / Club Concierge serves as the central point of communication for the clubhouse dining experience and hotel operations . You will greet members and guests, answer incoming calls, manage dining reservations, coordinate to-go orders, and help maintain smooth communication between members, servers, hosts, and the kitchen. This role requires a professional, organized individual who enjoys hospitality and thrives in a fast-paced service environment. What You'll Do Front Office Reception Welcome members and guests with a warm and professional presence Maintain the clubhouse reception desk and lobby area Serve as the first point of contact for clubhouse dining inquiries Reservations & Member Communication Manage dining reservations using Jonas Activity Management Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally Assist members with questions regarding dining, events, and club activities Book Hotel reservations and check in guests Food & Beverage Coordination Assist members with to-go orders and enter orders into the POS system Communicate guest counts, special requests, and reservations to the dining team Support host operations during busy service periods Administrative & Operational Support Assist with member requests and reservation coordination Maintain awareness of daily dining events and reservations Help ensure smooth communication between members, hosts, servers, and the kitchen Who Thrives in This Role The most successful candidates in this role are: welcoming and personable highly organized and detail-oriented strong communicators calm under pressure comfortable multitasking in a hospitality environment This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality but also enjoys the organization and coordination that keeps service running smoothly.

Requirements:

Qualification:

High school diploma or equivalent. Some administrative experience preferred but not required. Must be dependable, self-motivated and require minimal supervision. Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays. Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with peers, management, clients, and prospective clients in a professional manner. Must have a positive attitude. Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects. Starting payrate is $16.50 per hour Tues-Sat 4pm - 8:30 pm and Sun 11a-8:30 pm
