Job Description

We are looking for a welcoming and organized Receptionist to support daily front-desk and administrative operations for a non-profit office in Ohio. This contract position with potential for a permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a positive first impression, keeping office activities running smoothly, and providing dependable support to staff and visitors. The role requires professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome parents, children, staff, and visitors while following established office and building procedures.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls through a multi-line phone system with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, reports, and other documents using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Receive, record, sort, and distribute incoming mail and other delivered materials accurately.
  • Maintain tracking logs for documents and ensure information reaches the appropriate team members promptly.
  • Monitor office supplies and equipment, including replenishing materials and coordinating orders when needed.
  • Keep the front desk and reception area clean, orderly, and ready to receive guests at all times.
  • Assist with meetings by organizing agendas, compiling handouts, and distributing minutes or related materials.
  • Provide administrative support to managers and supervisors across a variety of day-to-day office tasks.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and interact respectfully with children, families, and colleagues.
