Job Description
We are currently looking for a Full Time Imaging Support Specialist to join our Imaging Support team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.
Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide clerical support to the Imaging Department.Responsibilities:
Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment Maintains and promotes professionalism Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area Provides coverage/assist with the front reception desk as needed Schedules staff meetings, conferences, and events Develops and maintains documentation as appropriate - files, logs, records, reports, etc. Completes all required departmental documentation Answers the phone, transfers call, takes messages and screens calls per guidelines for areas served Scans documents into software Participates in performance improvement activities to measure, assess and improve the quality of assigned work area Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information in accordance with HIPAA regulations May require to be cross trained in multiple areas as assigned Treats all patients and family with care and respect and maintain a cooperative attitude with fellow employees to facilitate quality patient care Records care given and reports patient care observations Assists patients in scheduling appointments Facilitates consults, referrals, and form completion as requested and approved by the medical staff Facilitates the check-in and check-out process with the patient Reviews daily operation schedule and patient charts for the following day Greets persons entering the building and directs individuals to correct destination Performs all other duties as assignedCompetencies:
