In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, ensuring smooth communication and exceptional customer service. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment where pet care and client satisfaction are top priorities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside veterinary professionals and deepen your understanding of animal health and welfare. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly, establishing a positive first impression and guiding them through check-in procedures Manage appointment scheduling efficiently, balancing client needs with veterinarian availability Ensure all billing and payment processes are transparent and professional Assist with laboratory tasks such as sample collection, processing, and basic analysis to support diagnostic efforts Support kennel operations by coordinating pet boarding, feeding, grooming, and ensuring animals are comfortable and well-cared-for during their stay Perform duties such as cleaning cages, feeding, watering, and monitoring overall pet health in accordance with aseptic techniques Assist veterinary staff with critical care procedures like animal catheterization or administering medications under supervision when needed Maintain a clean and organized reception area while adhering to infection control protocols Requirements Prior experience in veterinary reception or customer service within an animal care setting is highly desirable Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal restraint techniques, and pet care best practices Hands-on experience with dog/cat handling Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary diagnostics is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and medical collection processes Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members from diverse backgrounds Passion for animals combined with a proactive attitude to support veterinary teams in delivering exceptional care Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
