Job Description
As the Front Desk Associate at West Coast Strength, you'll be the go-to person for creating a positive first impression and delivering a high-quality experience for our members. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for fitness, enjoys interacting with people, and can handle a variety of tasks efficiently. You'll play a key role in maintaining our reputation as a top-tier gym by balancing customer service, sales, and facility upkeep with a can-do attitude and a professional approach.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Engaging Customer Service:
Provide a friendly and professional welcome to all members and guests, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they step into the gym. Be attentive and present at the front desk, ready to assist, check in guests, and handle inquiries with a positive demeanor. 2.Proactive Sales and Member Engagement:
Lead tours for potential members, highlighting what makes our gym stand out, and assist with new member sign-ups. Drive sales of products and services, including food, drinks, supplements, and apparel, by understanding member needs and offering suitable options. 3.Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness:
Ensure the gym is always clean, organized, and inviting - a reflection of our high standards and commitment to excellence. Manage cleaning schedules and tasks efficiently, ensuring a well-maintained facility at all times. 4.Team Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with the Membership and Operations Coordinator to ensure seamless operations and excellent member experiences. Participate in a structured training process, gaining the skills and confidence needed for success in the role.Performance Metrics:
Performance will be evaluated based on customer service quality, sales achievements, facility maintenance standards, and overall contribution to the gym's operations.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or experience in customer service, sales, or related field is a plus. A genuine interest in fitness and an understanding of gym operations.Position Title:
