We are a three-attorney firm with a primary focus on criminal defense and DUI defense. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and professional, and who can communicate well with people who may be dealing with stressful legal situations.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

$20-$25/hour depending on experience In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our current and prospective clients. You will answer phones, schedule appointments, open and close files, organize documents, gather client information, and help keep case files, calendars, and deadlines on track. You will also support attorneys and staff with day-to-day administrative work that helps the office run smoothly. We provide on-the-job training and video tutorials for our most common tasks so that new employees can transition well into the role.
Responsibilities include:
Answering calls from current and prospective clients Scheduling appointments and taking messages Opening and closing matters in the firm's case management system Scanning and organizing documents in electronic files Gathering and reviewing information from clients Helping maintain organized files, calendars, and deadlines Coordinating work with attorneys and other team members Required skills: Strong grammar, spelling, and typing skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills with clients and team members by phone, email, and in person Prior office experience and the ability to learn new systems and procedures Preferred skills: Experience with legal case management systems Experience with Caret Legal, Clio, or MyCase Experience with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro Experience working in a law firm or other professional setting Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required Work environment: In-person office position Non-smoking environment
