Front Desk Dental Receptionist Schedule:
Monday - Friday, Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing daily administrative and scheduling responsibilities. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments. Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary documentation. Collect co-pays, payments, and maintain accurate financial records. Check patients in and out efficiently. Maintain and update patient records in the dental practice management system. Coordinate with dental providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Handle treatment plan scheduling and follow-up appointments. Manage office correspondence, emails, and general administrative tasks. Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous dental office or medical reception experience preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance is a plus. Proficiency with dental software systems Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and positive attitude.
