Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant animal care team as an Animal Grooming Receptionist, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will set the tone for a positive experience for pet owners and their beloved animals. In this dynamic role, you will be the friendly face at the front desk, managing appointments, answering inquiries, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Your organizational skills and passion for animals will contribute to creating a caring environment that keeps clients coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine administrative expertise with a love for pets in a lively, supportive setting. Duties Greet clients and their pets warmly, providing excellent customer service and support Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule grooming appointments, answer questions, and handle inquiries efficiently Maintain accurate appointment calendars using Microsoft Office tools and Google Workspace applications Process payments and handle basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software Organize files, update client records, and perform data entry with precision and attention to detail Assist with office management duties such as filing, proofreading documents, and managing correspondence Support team members by providing administrative assistance including calendar management and personal support as needed Experience Prior office or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within a pet care or veterinary setting Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry systems Excellent phone etiquette with experience operating multi-line phone systems; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clients Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail Experience in clerical tasks such as filing, proofreading, and customer support roles Knowledge of office management practices including calendar management, bookkeeping (QuickBooks), and time management techniques Personal assistant experience or office experience that showcases strong organizational and communication skills Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners by providing exceptional front-desk service in a lively environment.
