Job Description

Location:
360 Middletown Rd, Media, PA 19063 Performs routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing assistance, data processing, and record-keeping.

Under general supervision of the Office Manager/Scheduler Operates appropriate computers/printers. Maintains and updates all records for pagers and provides lists for the Disaster Recovery Coordinator. Greets and ID all visitors at the Emergency Center Answers all incoming calls with effective verbal and listening communication skills and directs them appropriately. Takes messages for all managers at the center. Enters appropriate technical data into appropriate data base; generates various reports/printouts and forwards to requesting personnel. Responsible for sorting, filing and mailing of Police reports to all Delaware County Police Departments on a daily basis. Process all incoming mail, stamped, sorted, filed and/or distributed daily. Process mass mailings for departmental managers to Fire, EMS, and Police in the five county Southeast Pennsylvania Region. Meets with the office manager/scheduler as needed to discuss/resolve work related problems, vacation schedule, sick time, etc. Responsible for the labeling and distribution of time cards to shift supervisors and managers for bargaining employees. Bi-weekly collection and process of employee time cards; tabulating hours worked, sick time, vacation etc as required. Responsible for filing and preparing employee files weekly, into chronological and alphabetical order, including certificates, PAFs, reports, etc. Update administrative office employee status board. Performs other related duties as assigned by office manager, Director, or his designee.
