Job Description

Objective:
The Receptionist is responsible for supporting daily office operations including: maintaining a friendly and welcoming demeanor for visiting patients and visitors, answering phone calls, handling mail distribution, and assisting patients with general questions about the company. This role also includes processing payments, overseeing office event coordination, and ensuring the office environment remains organized and orderly. Offers reliable administrative support to meet departmental needs in a timely manner.
Skills/Qualifications:
Exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills Ability to use independent judgement and discretion Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of governmental regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other compliance programs Knowledge of basic medical terminology recommended
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Supplies timely and effective administrative support services to the organizational department Act as administrative liaison with internal and/or external sources Support all operational aspects Greet, and interacts with patients and visitors to the organization Answer and route incoming calls to the appropriate departments across the organization Perform typing and other clerical duties Resolve problems with patients and find resolutions
Physical Demands:
Prolonged sitting and computer use. Frequent keyboarding and use of standard office equipment. Visual ability to review electronic documents. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of light office materials (up to 10-15 lbs). Qualifications Associate's Degree preferred Prior experience in a professional office environment Healthcare experience preferred About Synergy Orthopedics Synergy Orthopedics is a dynamic, rapidly growing Third Party Biller of Orthopedic Bracing and Rehabilitation products focused on serving Patients and Physicians in the PA, NJ, DE, MD and NY State areas for a wide range of Orthopedic and Podiatric rehabilitation and surgical needs.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
