Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist / Admission / Scheduler to join our healthcare team. This vital role serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing appointments, admissions, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional patient service. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing outstanding customer service while maintaining professionalism at all times Manage patient check-in and check-out processes Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently utilizing medical scheduling software and office management tools Verify insurance coverage, process medical collections, and handle health insurance inquiries with knowledge of HIPAA regulations Review and update patient records, ensuring compliance with clinical confidentiality policies and accurate documentation review Maintain organized medical records Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette; handle appointment rescheduling and patient inquiries promptly Support clinical staff by performing clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, typing, and maintaining office supplies Experience Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred Experience handling health insurance processes including Medicare billing and documentation review Excellent computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for administrative support tasks Proven ability to maintain clinical confidentiality policies while managing sensitive information efficiently Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on phone communication and patient engagement Office experience involving scheduling, clerical support, filing, and front desk operations in a healthcare setting Join us in making a difference by providing compassionate care through efficient administrative support. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 24.0 per week
