We are seeking a diligent and personable front desk associate to help greet patients and handle important administrative tasks in our busy office. We are willing to train the right person for this role. We are seeking a diligent and personable individual. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations within our practice.

Responsibilities Front Desk Duties:
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries efficiently. Maintain a tidy and organized reception area. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow.
Patient Registration & Records Management:
Collect patient information accurately and enter it into our EMR. Verify insurance information and assist patients with completing necessary forms. Update patient records with any changes in personal or insurance information.
Appointment Scheduling:
Schedule patient appointments according to availability and physician preferences. Coordinate appointments and send referrals to other specialists as needed. Send appointment reminders to patients via phone, email, or text.
Billing & Payment:
Collect and process copayments, deductibles, and co-insurances for services rendered. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits. Assist patients with billing inquiries. Administrative Support Assist medical staff with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents. Manage incoming and outgoing faxes and email. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Other duties as assigned Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries efficiently. Maintain a tidy and organized reception area. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus. Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative or customer service role. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical procedures, and insurance procedures is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
