RECEPTIONIST - Part Time

Someone who can create a welcoming first impressiong while keeping our front desk running smoothly. If you enjoy a face-paced environment and being the go-to person for guess and staff, this role is for you! Position Summary The Receptionist f acilitates the flow of hospital's communication; provides customer-friendly environment for customers and staff via telephone and face-to-face communication. Communicates department information and updates to receptionists and staff members providing coverage at the front desk. Key Responsibilities Appropriately answers and responds to incoming telephone calls in a courteous and customer-friendly manner Provides requested information or direction to callers Manages and routes incoming mail and carrier deliverables Greets and responds to visitors in a customer-friendly manner Manages visitors sign-in and gives visitors badges Directs and assists visitors and patients to the correct location or staff members as appropriate Manages patient items brought in by visitors Maintains documentation related to Needs Assessment and referral calls Provides clerical support to hospital as needed and assinged by department head Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position Schedule Evenings, Nights, & every other weekend Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is located on the beautiful Ashley River near Charleston, SC, Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health lends a helping hand to people struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. Qualifications Education:

High School diploma or GED required

Experience:

1 year experience with multi-line phone system preferred

Licensure/Competency:
