Mental Health Clinic Receptionist The Positive Living Group Full Time Job Overview The Positive Living Group is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our growing mental health clinic team. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for clients and play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional, and supportive environment for patients and staff alike. The ideal candidate is dependable, friendly, highly organized, and comfortable managing confidential information in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a professional and compassionate manner Manage patient intake forms and verify demographic and insurance information Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries appropriately Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Process payments and assist with basic billing-related tasks Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming Handle sensitive and confidential information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines Assist with general administrative and office support tasks as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous receptionist, administrative, customer service, or healthcare office experience preferred Mental health or medical office experience is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and electronic records Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion Preferred Skills Patient intake and registration Appointment scheduling and calendar management Phone etiquette and customer service Insurance verification experience Data entry and record management Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why join PLG? $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
