Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist, where your energetic and positive attitude will be the first point of contact for pet owners and visitors. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting the clinical team. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help ensure a smooth flow of daily activities, creating a welcoming environment for pets and their owners alike. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and handle all front desk interactions with professionalism and enthusiasm Schedule appointments, answer phone inquiries, and manage client communications efficiently Collect payments, process medical billing, and handle medical collections accurately Maintain accurate patient records, update client information, and assist with filing and data entry Support veterinary staff with kennel management, animal husbandry, and basic pet care tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in veterinary reception or customer service roles is highly preferred Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and aseptic techniques is advantageous Familiarity with medical collection processes and laboratory procedures is a plus Experience in animal handling including restraint techniques and kennel management Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and appointment scheduling Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members in a professional and positive manner Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
