Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front desk operations for a contract position. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and team members, helping create an efficient and welcoming office environment. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and comfortable balancing customer-facing responsibilities with routine administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and clients warmly, provide direction upon arrival, and ensure a positive front office experience.
- Respond to incoming calls promptly, direct inquiries to the appropriate team members, and take accurate messages when needed.
- Coordinate calendars by arranging appointments, reserving meeting spaces, and helping maintain an orderly daily schedule.
- Process incoming mail, outgoing correspondence, and package deliveries with attention to timeliness and accuracy.
- Support administrative workflows by completing data entry, maintaining records, and organizing physical or digital files.
- Keep the reception area neat, presentable, and ready to receive visitors throughout the day. Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with visitors and staff.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and a courteous, dependable approach in a front desk setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Solid organizational skills for handling appointments, messages, files, and general office coordination.
- Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative support, or customer-facing role is preferred.
