I opened my agency in 2023 after spending five years as a State Farm team member, which gave me a strong foundation for building a high-producing, culture-driven office. We're a family-oriented team of three that values positivity, teamwork, and creating an environment where people enjoy coming to work every day. I graduated from UTD and outside of work I enjoy sports, spending time with my wife, child, and our two dogs, and staying involved in the community through the Garland Animal Shelter and Toys for Kids initiatives. Our team enjoys snacks and coffee in the office, team outings and events, cabin trips to Oklahoma when goals are met, and ambassador travel opportunities. I'm looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a coachable attitude, and someone who wants to be part of a supportive, winning team culture.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Giovanni Serrano - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage appointment scheduling and office communications. Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs. Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
