Duties Greet clients warmly and efficiently manage appointment scheduling, check-ins, and check-outs at the front desk Provide compassionate animal handling, including dog training, pet sitting, grooming, and animal restraint to ensure safety and comfort Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through thorough sanitization and animal care routines Assist with pet boarding by feeding, administering medications, exercising, and monitoring animals' health and behavior Handle pet care tasks such as outdoor walks, pet grooming, and ensuring proper animal behavior during interactions Support team lifting and heavy lifting activities when moving supplies or large animals safely Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs, behaviors, and health status Requirements Prior veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly preferred Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling demonstrates strong animal care skills Knowledge of animal behavior and restraint techniques ensures safe interactions with pets of all sizes Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently to maintain a sanitized pet care environment Excellent customer service skills to provide friendly assistance and address client inquiries confidently Physical ability to perform outdoor work, lift heavy objects safely, and stand or walk for extended periods Familiarity with pet grooming techniques and animal restraint methods is a plus Join us in creating a caring community where pets feel safe and owners trust us to provide top-quality care.
