About The Dog Academy We are not your average dog facility, and this is not your average front desk job. The Dog Academy is Houston's most culture-driven pet care campus. 2 acres, 32 private boarding rooms, a bone-shaped pool, multiple fields, and a team that genuinely believes that how we treat each other directly determines how well we care for the dogs. That belief has made us the best-reviewed pet care facility in the city. We are currently rebuilding and relaunching as "The Dog Academy 2.0", and we are looking for people to grow with us from the ground up. If you want to be part of something being built, not just something already built, this is that moment. The Role This is a full-time, client-facing role at the heart of everything we do. You are the first voice a client hears and the first face they see. You set the tone for their entire experience with us, and with their dog. This is not a background role. You will be actively building relationships, learning our clients and their dogs by name, guiding new clients into the right services, and making sure every interaction leaves people feeling like they made the right choice coming here. What You Will Do Greet clients warmly and create a genuine first impression every single time Listen carefully to client needs and match them to the right services and products Build real, lasting relationships with our client base
- you will know their dogs, their preferences, and their stories Handle scheduling, reservations, and day-to-day front desk operations with accuracy and organization Communicate clearly and professionally via phone, email, and in person Identify opportunities to introduce clients to services they are not yet using Re-engage lapsed clients and support outreach campaigns Support the team by staying in sync with what is happening across boarding, daycare, grooming, and training Keep the front office organized, presentable, and running smoothly Who We Are Looking For You do not need years of experience in pet care.
