Front Desk Lead Christ Clinic
- Non-Profit Charity Clinic Katy, TX Position Overview Christ Clinic is seeking a compassionate, organized, and mission-driven Front Desk Lead to serve as the first point of contact for our patients, volunteers, and community.
This role is vital in creating a welcoming, respectful, and Christ-centered environment while ensuring front office operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Front Desk Lead will oversee daily front desk functions, support and guide front desk staff and volunteers, and help ensure an exceptional patient experience aligned with Christ Clinic's values and commitment to serving others with excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Oversight Lead and support front desk staff and volunteers with clarity, encouragement, and accountability Train, onboard, and mentor new front desk team members Create and maintain front desk schedules to ensure adequate coverage Serve as the primary point of contact for front desk operations and problem-solving Patient Experience Greet all patients and visitors with warmth, dignity, and respect Ensure a welcoming and organized check-in/check-out process Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Operations & Administration Oversee patient registration, insurance verification (if applicable), and documentation accuracy Maintain front office workflows and identify opportunities for improvement Ensure proper use of electronic health records (EHR) systems Manage incoming calls, messages, and correspondence efficiently Coordinate communication between front desk, clinical staff, and leadership Process Improvement Help implement and refine front desk policies and procedures Ensure consistency in workflows, documentation, and communication Support organizational initiatives to improve efficiency and patient care Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred Bilingual in English/Spanish 2+ years of front desk, administrative, or healthcare office experience Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience with EHR systems preferred Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment Character & Culture Expectations At Christ Clinic, who you are matters just as much as what you do.
