Front Desk Receptionist (optical sales + customer service)

What We're Looking For Front Desk/ Optician Pay:

$15-18 per hour Training included, no experience required Vision Gallery is looking for a warm motivated individual to join our team. This is a full time opportunity where you'll be the face of our practice, greeting patients, supporting daily operations and helping people find the eyewear they love. We are a modern, boutique optometry practice known for exceptional patient care, advanced dry eye & aesthetics technology, and a curated collection of luxury eyewear. Our team is small, supportive, and fast-paced — and we take pride in providing a five-star experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Position Overview This role is a blend of front-office coordination , customer service , and optical sales . You are the first impression of our practice and play a key role in ensuring smooth daily flow, happy patients, and strong sales performance. We will train the right candidate — experience in optical or medical office settings is a bonus, not a requirement. Responsibilities Front Desk Warmly greet patients and create a welcoming environment Answer phones, book appointments, confirm upcoming visits and manage patient flow Check patients in/out, verify insurance eligibility, collect copays/balances Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA guidelines Assist with filing, scanning, office organization, and inventory tasks Collaborate with team to deliver an exceptional patient experience. Communicate professionally with patients, doctors, and team Optical Sales responsibilities Guide patients in selecting frames based on doctor recommendations, style, fit and lifestyle Assist with frame adjustments, minor repairs, and presentation of eyewear Learn basic optical measurements and process orders Friendly, confident communicator, strong customer service skills with a genuine love for helping people Reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in doing things right, punctual and able to multitask in a busy environment Coachable, eager to learn, and excited about growth Schedule Full-time (Monday-Friday) Part time How to Apply Please submit your resume through Indeed or drsaharmah@gmail.com.
