We're looking for a Front Desk Receptionist / Kennel Tech to join our amazing team at Circle B Bed 'n Biscuits—a luxury boarding, daycare, and grooming facility affiliated with Circle B Veterinary Hospital. If you thrive in the middle of organized chaos, dog kisses, and a fast-paced, fun environment, this job is calling your name. This is a client-facing, front-of-house leadership role responsible for creating an exceptional experience for every client and pet that walks through our doors. You will be the face of our facility—setting the tone, keeping everything organized up front, and making sure every pet parent feels confident and comfortable leaving their babies in our care. Prior experience in a Doggy Daycare or boarding environment is required. Why Work Here? What We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who is naturally friendly, upbeat, and genuinely enjoys working with both people and pets. You communicate clearly, stay on top of responsibilities. What You'll Be Doing:
Be the face of Bed 'n Biscuits—greet clients, answer phones, and create a warm, welcoming environment Coordinate grooming schedules and ensure all requested services are completed correctly Manage reservations, check-ins and check-outs, and ensure all information is accurate and complete Deliver excellent customer service and confidently guide nervous pet parents Review and confirm feeding instructions, medications, and vaccine records Handle billing, deposits, and daily front desk prep with accuracy and attention to detail Keep the front desk organized, efficient, and running smoothly at all times Strategically manage the lodging calendar—ensure every pet has space Take ownership of the daily flow of the facility, ensuring every arrival, departure, and service is coordinated and on track Communicate clearly with the kennel team to ensure every pet's needs are met Jump in to assist with pet care, feeding, medications (as trained), cleaning, and daily tasks as needed Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility from front to back Document client communication and updates in Gingr and EzyVet, coordinating any medical needs with Circle B Veterinary Hospital Give tours of the facility and confidently walk clients through our services in a way that builds trust and excitement Promote and recommend services like grooming and doggy daycare based on each pet's needs Lead seasonal fun—plan and execute holiday photo shoots, themed events, and arts and crafts activities for daycare and boarding pets Create fun, engaging social media content—photos, videos, holiday portraits, and special moments for clients
Required:
2+ years of experience in a boarding, daycare, or grooming facility setting Previous front desk or customer service experience in a pet resort, grooming, or doggy daycare environment Must be comfortable and confident working with both dogs and cats Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment Must have full availability for rotating shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and all holidays (weekends and holidays are required and non-negotiable) This role requires consistency and reliability—attendance and dependability are essential to the success of the facility Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods High School Diploma or GED Reliable transportation
Preferred:
Experience with Gingr Veterinary hospital experience Experience creating or posting social media content (photos, videos, or business pages) Comfortable using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.) and generally tech savvy Ready to Join Our Team?
