Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front desk operations for a contract position based in Midland, Virginia. This role serves as a key point of contact for visitors, callers, and internal staff while helping keep administrative activities organized and running smoothly. The ideal candidate brings prior office experience, strong customer service skills, and confidence using Microsoft Office tools in a fast-paced onsite environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests, employees, vendors, and customers with a courteous and attentive approach, then connect them with the appropriate contact or department.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls efficiently while responding to general front office inquiries and visitor needs.
  • Coordinate appointments and manage scheduling for the main conference room to support daily office operations.
  • Process incoming mail and deliveries, distribute items to the correct recipients, and arrange outgoing shipments or mail services as needed.
  • Complete clerical support tasks such as copying, scanning, faxing, filing, and preparing documents for office use.
  • Enter and verify operational information, including production, shipping, and voucher-related records, with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Support accounting and administrative activities by scanning daily deposits and assisting with assigned office documentation.
  • Monitor office and reception supply levels, place orders when needed, and help maintain an orderly front desk and conference room area.
  • Provide dependable customer support through email, phone, and in-person communication while maintaining a welcoming office presence.
