Job Description

RGV Foot & Ankle Institute - Mission, Texas RGV Foot & Ankle Institute is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Medical Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring efficient day-to-day front office operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred Knowledge of insurance verification and patient registration processes Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Responsibilities Include:
Greeting and checking patients in and out Scheduling and confirming appointments Answering and directing incoming phone calls Collecting patient demographics and updating medical records Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits Obtaining referrals and authorizations when required Collecting copays, deductibles, self-pay balances, and outstanding payments Scanning and uploading documents into the EMR system Managing patient correspondence and appointment reminders Maintaining accurate patient records Assisting with patient intake forms and registration Coordinating communication between patients, providers, pharmacies, and referring offices Assisting with daily administrative and office tasks
