Work under minimum supervision to provide advanced clerical services to the campus administrator assigned. Handle confidential information and engage in frequent contact with staff members and the general public.Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GEDSpecial Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos Ability to make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling Excellent public relations, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task administrative activitiesExperience:
2 years or more experience (preferred)Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Clerical Support Knowledge of general office procedures Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as needed. Set up meetings, including reserving the venue, preparing materials, and arranging for refreshments and catering as needed. Compile and maintain attendance records Accept, sort, and direct campus mail as needed Reception and Phones Receive incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route them to the appropriate staff member. Greet visitors in a kind and courteous manner. Respond to routine inquiries from the public and staff and refer appropriate inquiries or problems to administrators. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required. Maintain confidentiality. Attendance Clerk 1. Collect and enter attendance and PEIMS data into the established database and verify accuracy according to established procedures. 2. Prepare and print reports, including attendance reports, grades, class or personnel rosters, end-of-semester reports, or accounting reports. 3. Maintain physical and computerized records, including attendance records, progress and failure reports, class rosters, etc.Supervisory Responsibilities:
