Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and reliable individual to join our team as a Clinical Laboratory Receptionist. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional patient experience by supporting the daily operations of the medical laboratory. The ideal candidate consistently provides courteous, professional service to patients, providers, and coworkers while maintaining a positive, team-oriented work environment. Strong communication skills are essential, as this position interacts with patients of all ages and collaborates closely with laboratory staff.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Deliver excellent customer service during every patient and coworker interaction, both in person and over the phone.
  • Support daily laboratory operations, including patient greeting, registration, appointment scheduling, and telephone coverage.
  • Perform general office and clerical duties such as ordering supplies, sorting and alphabetizing documents, completing paperwork, and maintaining organized workspaces.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while balancing individual and team responsibilities.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and staff members.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous medical office or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred, with demonstrated interpersonal and phone communication skills
  • Spanish and English languages preferred
Hours:
Hiring for 8-5 shift with 1 hour break Must be available to work Monday
  • Friday shifts ranging 7:15 am
  • 6:00 pm with occasional rotating Saturday shift 7:30 am
  • 2:00 pm Employees must be able to rotate through ALL the different shifts listed below on as-needed basis and occasional
Saturdays:
Shift 1: 7:15AM-3:45PM Mon-Fri Shift 2: 8:00AM-5:00PM Mon-Fri 1 hour lunch Shift 3: 9:30AM-6:00PM Mon-Fri Shift 4: 7:30AM
