Front Desk Receptionist

Looking for a full-time or part-time Front Desk Receptionist for our clinic in St. George. Potential hire will be responsible for day-to-day operations including greeting and helping patients as they come to the clinic. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. Responsibilities and Duties Managing daily office functions and employees. Oversee scheduling, billing, front office and work with surgeons when needed in back office. Perform general office duties such as answering telephones, prescription line and patient callbacks. Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. Counsels patients by transmitting surgeons' orders and questions and explaining treatment procedures, medications and surgeons' instructions to patients.
