Job Description

Full-Time | On-Site | Newport News, VA About the Role CVP Windows and Doors is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist/Office Assistant to be the welcoming face of our showroom and the operational backbone of our front office. You'll work directly with customers, coordinate scheduling, and keep day-to-day office functions running smoothly. What You'll Do Customer Service & Communication Answer inbound calls, emails, and texts promptly and professionally Greet walk-in customers and create a welcoming showroom experience Identify customer needs, process requests, and resolve or escalate concerns effectively Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout their experience Scheduling & Coordination Schedule and confirm customer appointments for sales consultations Manage the appointment calendar and proactively follow up with customers as needed Office Administration Complete daily office paperwork accurately and on time Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office and showroom environment Document all customer interactions in the company's customer management system Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed What We're Looking For Required High school diploma or GED Strong verbal communication and active listening skills Comfortable working with computers and learning new software Ability to stay calm, organized, and effective in a busy environment Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Preferred Previous experience in a customer service, receptionist, or office assistant role Familiarity with CRM or customer management software Experience in a home improvement, construction, or retail environment a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Paid time off (PTO) Complete benefit package including medical, dental, vision, disability & life insurance, Simple IRA with a company match Career growth opportunities within a growing local company A supportive team environment where your contributions are valued Employment is contingent upon a successful background check and pre-employment drug screen.
