About Us Mountcastle Turch Life Celebration Home is a family-owned and operated funeral home serving Woodbridge, Lorton, and the surrounding communities for more than 65 years. We are a small, dedicated team committed to providing compassionate, professional, and personalized service to the families we serve. We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and professional team member who takes pride in helping others and is willing to learn. Because this position is often the first point of contact for our client families , excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a warm, welcoming manner are essential. What You'll Do Answer and direct telephone calls Greet and assist families in person Schedule appointments and assist with daily administrative tasks Receive clothing, photographs, flowers, memorabilia, and other items from families Enter and maintain case information in our software database Post obituaries and service information to our website Arrange flowers, photographs, memorabilia, and other items in service and visitation rooms Assist with receiving casket deliveries and other deliveries Help with general tasks necessary to support our families and the funeral home What We're Looking For A positive and compassionate attitude Professional and courteous communication skills Strong attention to detail Dependability and the ability to work as part of a team Comfort interacting with families in person and over the phone Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities The ability to remain professional, calm, and respectful in sensitive situations What We Offer On-the-job training A safe and supportive work environment A close-knit, family-oriented team The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the families we serve If you are caring, dependable, professional, and looking for an opportunity to become part of a team that genuinely makes a difference, we encourage you to apply.
