Neuropsychological Consultants, Inc. has an immediate opening for an admin/ receptionist in our Kenosha, WI office to support our senior administrative assistant. Qualified applicants must have at least a high school diploma. Previous healthcare office experience is preferred, but this is not required. This job involves frequent contact with clients of different age groups and temperaments; kindness, patience, adaptability, and professionalism are key. Understanding of and commitment to patient confidentiality is essential, and HIPAA training will be provided. This position balances teamwork and patient interaction with a high level of independent work. The ideal candidate can self-direct, juggle multiple priorities, and follow through on time-sensitive tasks. Comprehensive training will be provided by your supervisor, our senior administrative assistant. Required Skills

  • Greet/ check in patients
  • Answer the clinic phone and make outbound calls for appointment reminders, scheduling, insurance inquiries, etc.
  • Data entry
  • Collect and document payments
  • Send and monitor faxes
  • Compile accurate patient charts
  • Submit prior authorizations to health insurance plans
  • Print, copy, and scan documents
  • Stock, monitor, and order office supplies
  • Maintain a clean and orderly office (e.g., vacuum, wipe surfaces, clean bathrooms)
  • Assist with marketing (e.g., mail brochures and business cards)
  • Other duties as assigned This position is between 8-16 hours per week.
No Fridays, nights, weekends or major holidays. Benefits include paid holiday and accrued time off, following a successful 90-day probation period. Interested candidates should submit a resume with a cover letter.
Pay:
$17.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 16.0 per week
