Job Description

Job Overview Family Care Chiropractic is looking for a friendly, dependable, and highly organized individual to join our team as a Front Desk & Patient Coordinator . This is a part-time position that combines patient interaction, scheduling, payment processing, insurance-related responsibilities, and general office support. Strong computer skills are important for this position , as much of the daily work involves scheduling software, internet-based tasks, data entry, and Microsoft Excel. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in doing their job well, and can become a dependable and trusted member of our team. Previous medical, chiropractic, insurance, or front desk experience is helpful but not required . We are willing to provide on-the-job training for the right person. More important to us is finding someone who is trustworthy, self-motivated, organized, comfortable learning new things, proficient with computers, and has a friendly and positive attitude. Responsibilities Greet patients and create a friendly, welcoming experience Answer phones and schedule patient appointments Check patients in and out Collect and accurately record patient payments Build positive and professional relationships with our patients Enter and maintain accurate patient information in our computer system Make sure all necessary patient and insurance information is complete and accurate so insurance claims can be processed properly Assist with insurance payments, billing information, patient balances, and other insurance-related tasks Use insurance websites and other internet-based resources to obtain and verify information Use Microsoft Excel for basic spreadsheets, data entry, organization, and calculations Communicate professionally with patients, insurance companies, and other healthcare offices Perform basic calculations, including payment amounts, rounding, and sales tax Maintain an organized front desk and help keep patient flow running smoothly Stock and organize office supplies Perform routine cleaning and help maintain a clean, professional office environment Assist the doctors and other team members with additional office duties as needed Experience Friendly, positive, and good with people Trustworthy, dependable, and responsible Highly organized and detail-oriented Self-motivated and able to recognize what needs to be done without constant direction Proficient and comfortable using a computer Comfortable using Microsoft Excel , including basic spreadsheets, data entry, and simple calculations Comfortable navigating the internet , using websites, completing online forms, and finding information efficiently Able to learn new computer programs and office software Comfortable working with basic numbers and calculations Able to multitask and stay organized during busy periods Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Able to handle confidential patient and financial information appropriately Professional when communicating in person, by phone, and electronically Willing to learn new responsibilities Someone who brings a cheerful and professional attitude to work Previous medical office, chiropractic office, insurance, billing, or front desk experience is a plus, but it is not required .
