In this vital role, you will coordinate appointments, manage client communications, and support the smooth operation of our veterinary services. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to animal health and well-being. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures for appointments Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and handle client inquiries via phone, email, or in person Collect payments, process medical billing, and perform accurate medical collections to ensure smooth financial transactions Maintain detailed and organized patient records, including medical history and treatment notes Support veterinary staff with basic animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and handling animals during visits Communicate effectively with clients about pet care instructions, medication schedules, and upcoming appointments Requirements Prior experience in veterinary reception or administrative roles within animal care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and restraint techniques to assist in clinical environments Familiarity with laboratory procedures, aseptic techniques, and medical data collection processes Experience with dog and cat handling. Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint methods.
