Job Description

Job Overview Akkary Cosmetic Surgery Center & Medspa is seeking a professional, energetic, and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our patients and guests. This role is essential in creating a warm, welcoming, and exceptional patient experience that reflects our commitment to excellence, compassion, integrity, and personalized care. Patient Communication & Scheduling Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner Appropriately route and escalate patient questions, concerns, or clinical inquiries to the correct provider or staff member Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments for consultations, procedures, and follow-up visits Patient Check-In / Check-Out Greet patients upon arrival and facilitate an efficient check-in process Verify patient demographics and required documentation Assist with patient check-out, including scheduling follow-up appointments as directed Documentation & Records Management Complete and process new patient paperwork in a timely and accurate manner Ensure surgical consents and required procedural documentation are completed prior to treatment, in accordance with practice protocols Scan, upload, and organize documents within the electronic medical record system Obtain and document insurance cards when applicable Accurately document medical implantable devices as required (including device type, manufacturer, and identifying information) Operational & Clinical Support Assist with maintaining back stock of medical and office supplies Complete laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and properly storing patient linens, garments, and other reusable patient care items Ensure clean patient linens are available and properly stocked throughout the practice Communicate supply needs or shortages to appropriate staff Assist clinical and administrative staff as needed to support patient flow and office efficiency Facility Appearance & Patient Experience Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all patient-facing areas Routinely clean and organize the reception area, waiting room, consultation rooms, and patient restroom Ensure patient-facing spaces are welcoming, sanitary, and reflective of the practice's standards of excellence Monitor and restock patient amenities and supplies as needed General Office Support Perform miscellaneous administrative and operational tasks as assigned Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and patient-facing environment Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and practice privacy standards Professional Expectations Maintain a professional, discreet, and patient-focused demeanor at all times Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist across departments as needed Adhere to all office policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Take ownership of maintaining a clean, organized, and professional office environment Represent the practice's standards of excellence, safety, and patient care

From $15.00 per hour
