Experienced Veterinary Receptionist

Overview We are seeking an experienced, professional and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This is a key client-facing role within our clinic, requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail and prior experience in a veterinary environment. Duties Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and friendliness Managing appointment scheduling and maintaining accurate records Handling phone and email inquiries efficiently Processing payments and maintaining billing records Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff regarding pet care instructions, follow-up appointments, and treatment plans Maintaining a clean and organized reception area Assist with clinic cleaning duties Experience Proven experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a similar animal care administrative role Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Knowledge of animal handling techniques including dog handling, animal restraint, and general pet care practices Strong understanding of veterinary terminology Prior exposure to animal husbandry, laboratory work related to veterinary medicine, or animal anatomy knowledge will be highly valued Preferred Qualifications Experience using Avimark veterinary practice management software If you are passionate about animal care and great customer service we would love to hear from you.
