Patient Registration Receptionist Warm Valley Health Care - Fort Washakie, WY Be the welcoming face of compassionate care. Warm Valley Health Care is seeking a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented Patient Registration/Receptionist to join our team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors-helping create a positive, respectful, and culturally responsive healthcare experience. Meaningful work serving the community Supportive, mission-driven team environment Opportunity to grow in a healthcare setting Culture that honors and respects Native traditions and values What You'll Do As a key member of our Patient Access team, you will: Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and cultural sensitivity Register patients and accurately enter demographic and insurance information Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments Answer and route incoming calls efficiently Ensure patient forms are complete and properly documented in the EHR Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards Support clinic flow by coordinating with clinical staff Perform general administrative duties (filing, faxing, scanning, etc.) Participate in team meetings and quality improvement efforts
What We're Looking For Required:
High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of customer service or front office experience
Preferred:
Healthcare or medical office experience Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes Familiarity with Native American cultures and communities
SkillsAbilities:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organization and multitasking abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality Work EnvironmentPhysical Requirements Professional clinic setting with frequent patient interaction Primarily desk-based work with computer use Occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs.) APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Preference will be given to qualified Eastern Shoshone tribal members, then other qualified federally recognized Indian tribal members and then other qualified candidates. Applicants must submit a copy of Tribal Enrollment card or CIB for Indian Preference. Veterans who meet the minimum qualifications and provide documentation of an honorable discharge (DD214) from any branch of military service are entitled to receive preference points during the interview process. Any offer of employment is contingent upon a negative drug test, reference checks and background check. Refusal to undergo required testing or testing positive will render the applicant ineligible for employment. EOE
