  • We are looking for Mechanical Assemblers for Pomona, CA
  • 2nd shift hours:
  • 4:00pm - 12:30 Midnight, 3 months of training on 1st shift
  • Pay:
  • $19.98
  • You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical /measuring tools Ability to speak, read, write and understand English Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods; reaching, grasping, lifting up to 50 lbs; pushing/pulling materials; and frequent stooping, bending, squatting, crawling, and climbing Must be at least 18 years of age Must be thorough and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Must be willing to learn all equipment operated in the facility, and follow established processes Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with reading Blue Prints Previous experience with Large Industrial Machines
  • Position Overview:
  • Assembling and/or modifying electromechanical equipment (e.
g. Switchboards, Lighting Panels, etc.) with use of mechanical tools and blueprints. Processes and scan work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders. Reads and interprets documents associated with the completion of mechanical assembly assignments (e.g. blue prints, bill of materials, one line diagrams, etc.). Fastens component parts on cubicles or frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies. Cleans and maintains equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions. Must be able to stand for 10-12 hour shifts #LI-CY1 #MFGPomona #SiemensMFGCareer You should be proficient in: Electrical Schematics Machine Building/Assembling Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills Electrical / Electronic Systems Tape Measure Reading Maintenance and Repair Skills Industrial Electrical Experience Mechanical Assembly Skills Equipment Repair & Maintenance Excellent Communication Skills Shop Math Skills Blueprint Reading Machines & technologies you'll use: Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
