Redwood City, CA Job Details Full-time $35.97 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications CCTV system operation (AV) Word processing iOS Guard Card Computer hardware Productivity software Crisis management Full Job Description About the role: The JSOC Operator I is responsible for applying best practices to identify, analyze, and support all incidents that are either impactful or potentially impactful to the client's people, assets, and reputation. The JSOC Operator I monitors multiple streams of security information, including emails, phone calls, alarms, camera systems, and other access control technologies. The JSOC Operator I dispatches incident responses via radio and telephone and provides general assistance to client employees, vendors, and guests. In this role, your responsibilities will be: Conduct monitoring functions on a wide range of issues pertaining to global security such as petty and violent crime trends, disruptive protests, weather conditions, natural disasters, travel issues, reputational concerns, and socio-economic dynamics Engage in proactive efforts to mitigate risk and inform field personnel of operational concerns in advance Investigate alarms and respond by sending patrol or alerting Emergency Services as needed Coordinate response by distribution of advisories and other communications Follow procedures for managing a variety of issues, from minor incidents handled at the local level to global crises Perform other related duties as required As a candidate you must have: High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience 1-2 years of corporate security or
GSOC/JSOC
environment experience Proficiency in PC and iOS hardware and software including word processing, data analysis, presentation, and mapping programs General knowledge of security systems including alarm monitoring, electronic access control, and CCTV Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver high level of customer service Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team when needed Must complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as client-requested certifications; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted We offer: Health, Dental, Vision, and 401k for eligible employees Paid Time Off including Sick/Safe Time A dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunity for growth Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer
