Answering Service Tech MyOHR San Jose, CA Job Details Temporary $20 - $23 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Record keeping Report writing Basic math English High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The Answering Service Tech is responsible for assigning motor vehicles and drivers for pick up, recovery, and storage of broken down, damaged, or abandoned vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Answers incoming calls within four (4) rings in a friendly and professional manner; identifies customer needs and communicates details to the lead driver to ensure proper service and vehicle assignment. Communicates effectively with dispatchers during shift changes to ensure smooth transitions. Completes shift reports accurately and on time; maintains call logs. Maintains a clean and professional front office, lobby, dispatch area, and restroom through daily housekeeping. Maintains accurate records of dispatch times, arrival times, job completion, tow destinations, and COD charges with complete documentation. Tracks and records required information for COD logs, call exception logs, and daily operations reports.

We Require:

3-months of related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience required High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred Literate in English Mathematically literate

Working Conditions:

In person. Temporary, 8-hour shifts, including weekends.

Hourly Rate:

$20-$23

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
