Overview Join our dynamic team as a Switchboard Operator working the PM shift! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional communication and administrative support across our organization. Your energetic and professional approach will ensure seamless phone and visitor interactions, contributing to a positive experience for all callers and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your multitasking skills, technical proficiency, and customer service expertise in a fast-paced environment. Duties Manage multi-line phone systems and operator switchboards to handle high-volume calls efficiently Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy using proper phone etiquette Maintain accurate data entry and record keeping through clerical tasks and office software such as Microsoft Office Assist visitors by providing information, guiding them through security protocols, and managing front desk responsibilities Dispatch messages or personnel promptly to appropriate departments or team members as needed Utilize telephony systems to facilitate effective communication across departments and external contacts Support administrative functions including typing, filing, and managing office correspondence in a timely manner Skills Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse callers effectively Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear, courteous phone call management and customer service Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry and documentation tasks Experience with telephone systems, operator switchboards, and multi-line phone management is essential Knowledge of medical terminology or familiarity with healthcare environments is a plus but not required Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting Technical proficiency in telephony equipment, data entry, and clerical procedures to ensure smooth operations This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on delivering excellent service while managing multiple communication channels.
