This is a fast-paced, high-impact role that serves as the first point of contact for customers and partners, requiring exceptional communication skills, speed, accuracy, and professionalism. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, can seamlessly handle multiple lines, and is committed to delivering a superior customer experience through efficient and accurate call routing. This role requires strict adherence to a warm transfer only policy, ensuring every caller is properly introduced and connected to the appropriate department or team member.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a high-volume, multi-line switchboard system for multiple office locations Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and with a customer-first approach Perform warm transfers only , ensuring a smooth and professional handoff between departments Accurately route calls to the appropriate personnel based on customer needs Maintain strong knowledge of company departments, services, and key team members Handle escalated calls or sensitive situations with professionalism and urgency Minimize hold times while maintaining high-quality interactions Track and report call metrics, including volume, response times, and transfer efficiency Collaborate with operations, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication flow Identify opportunities to improve call handling processes and customer experience

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a high-volume call center or switchboard role Proven ability to manage multiple phone lines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong multitasking and organizational abilities Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient under pressure Experience with call management systems and CRM platforms preferred Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
