Job Description:

Work Schedule:

Weekend days, 7am to 3pm, Saturday and Sunday. Call required-Monday-Friday- every other week-eventually moving to every third week. Maintains effective communication operations by answering and forwarding calls promptly, executing overhead announcements, and responding appropriately to hospital codes and alarm systems. Supports hospital operations after hours by contacting key personnel as needed and maintaining accurate on-call lists and operational activity logs. Demonstrates strong knowledge of hospital emergency procedures, including disaster codes and emergency communication protocols. Provides exceptional customer service through professional, courteous, and helpful interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff. Communicates clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic understanding of numerous computer systems. [Required]

• Customer service skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Ability to work with attention to detail in reading, writing, and computer tasks required.
