Switchboard Operator Compensation (Based on experience and qualifications) Starting at $17.30
Schedule:
Monday
- Friday 9:00am
- 5:00pm with a Saturday Rotation 8:00am
- 1:00pm We are currently seeking a Switchboard Operator to join our medical team and provide excellent customer service to our patients.
The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with a courteous and professional demeanor. The operator is responsible for managing incoming calls and ensuring they are directed to the appropriate person or department.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and greet callers with a pleasant demeanor Efficiently transfer calls to the appropriate person or department Screen calls according to established guidelines Accurately process messages and schedule appointments when necessary Provide basic customer service to callers in achieving high performance standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of Medical office assistant experience or 'inbound' call center experience required Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills. Certification and/or experience in billing, and coding preferred. Medical terminology, and automated office experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays If you are a team player with a passion for customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
