DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Information Center Representative operates a console telephone switchboard relaying incoming and outgoing calls, acts as the hospital receptionist, takes customer payments and maintains patient files and paperwork.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional/Educational High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous health care experience preferred. Personal Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination to operate office equipment such as CRT, calculator, copy machine, typewriter and perform general clerical duties. Audiovisual ability to operate a console telephone switchboard. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
