Job Description
Visitor Control Specialist
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Visitor Control Specialists to join our team! In this role, Visitor Control Specialists will support daily operations at designated Visitor Centers (VCs), ensuring the secure entry, screening, and credentialing of all personnel and visitors. The position requires familiarity with access control protocols, identity verification, and the operation of physical security equipment to maintain a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Issue CACs, visitor badges, and guest decalsConduct fingerprinting and ID/photo credentialingScreen individuals using X-ray machines and metal detectorsMonitor access points and enforce security protocolsIssue and inventory keysMaintain logs and collaborate with security personnel
Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license or state-issued ID Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Prior experience in access control, physical security, or visitor management
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform all duties associated with access control functions Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods Vision correctable to 20/20 (no color blindness) Normal hearing and depth perception (correctable)
