Job Summary Visitor Security Control Specialist IDS International Visitor Security Control Specialist Fort Bragg, NC - Full Time IDS believes in resolving conflict, building innovative approaches to do so. Job Description:
IDS is seeking a Visitor Security Control Specialist to support visitor access control and physical security operations. The selected candidate will assist visitors, provide security-related information and directions, maintain required records, and support Army physical security requirements while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
Key Duties:
Support physical security activities. Provide accurate directions and information to visitors. Manage information related to contractor staff. Provide customer service support to visitors and personnel. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other computer-based systems to support security requirements. Support requirements in accordance with Army Physical Security policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Secret clearance. High school diploma. One year of experience in physical security activities. Knowledge of Army Physical Security policies and procedures. Knowledge of customer service practices and principles. Strong computer and Microsoft Office Suite skills. Ability to manage information of Contractor staff. Understand effective customer services orientation. Great attention to detail. Ability to provide accurate directions and information to visitors. Completed Defense Information Systems for Security (DISS) training and required certifications for user account access ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of concepts and theories of Physical Security programs, principles and practices used to review, analyze, and resolve physical security issues.
Compensation:
Competitive Hourly Pay Benefits Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position.
